Our low headroom garage door brackets can save hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in the cost of construction and materials of a new garage. It’s really quite simple, new construction cost’s X no. of dollars per square foot, depending on how elaborate the customer chooses to make it. Sectional garage doors today require approximately 14- 17" of head space to accommodate the door and automatic operator, therefore we may conclude that if you reduce the amount of headroom required, you lower your cost per square foot, without cutting corners or skimping on building materials.
Our low headroom bracket allows a standard door and operator to be installed in only 6" of head room space.

Our product is quite universal and very simply converts your existing standard doorsystem to a low headroom installation. Safety is perhaps our greatest selling feature.
The current industry standard for low headroom installation is the double track system. It places the lifting cable, which is under tremendous tension on the outside of the track, which creates two dangerous situations. First off, there is nothing to prevent a sling shot effect, should a cable break or bottom bracket let loose. Secondly, entrapment of a child or pet could occur, between the cable and bottom door section when an automatic operator is used. Our low headroom brackets are so sensitive that your door, will safety reverse on a one inchpiece of styrophome no matter if the force adjustment accidentally gets turned up. This is because energy from the operator is re-directed from downward crushing power, safely to a jamming actionof the top panel section.
